Can I unlock my iphone 4 on 4.3.5?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if it was possible to jailbreak+unlock my iPhone 4 that's on 4.3.5 with modern firmware 4.10.01, or better yet, if I could upgrade to 5.0.1 (with custom IPSW) and then jb+unlock.
I've been searching around for the past few days with no prevail 🙁

Yes, only by using a gevey turbo sim though.
Make sure you preserve your baseband if you have blobs and want to update to 5.0.1

So it's only possible through purchasing a gevey sim? Are the chances of a good old redsno0w+ultrasn0w unlock coming out in the near future feasible?

You never know what the future holds but for now the only option is gevey.
If you want to use it unlocked I wouldn't sit there and wait for ultrasnow.

I might as well wait it out since I already have a working unlocked 3GS, I was just hoping to upgrade.
