Can I Upgrade My 8 gb Iphone to 16gb?

I was just wondering if I could upgrade my 3G 8gb I phone to 16gb without just buying a new fully priced 16gb Iphone. Is there any discount I could get for already owning an Iphone? Or could I could a discount by upgrading to a 3GS 16gb I phone? My 8gb is completely filled up and I need more memory space. Please write back, Thanks.

Nope, you'll need to buy a new iPhone. No upgrade path available, unless you are within 14 days of O2 or 31/14 AT&T.

I believe the only way you can get the discounted price is if your contract it up and if you renew it. If you login to your www.wireless.att.com you can check and see if you're eligible for an upgrade.
