Can I upgrade my CD mbp to C2D??

would it be possible? i know that mobo can handle it, just wondering if there is any way to update the EFI without wrecking my computer...

i would say that it is possible so long as the chips aren't soddered into the motherboard.

but... for the price you would pay for a core2duo mobile, you might as well just sell your current model and but a new SR. you'd probably be paying the same give or take, but you'd get SR,LED, and all the other new goodies.

Buy a new motherboard and replace the old one, that's about all you could do. DON'T, odds are you'll mess it up. If it goes well, if you try, lets see it.
