Now I just want to add that I hope I'm going to use the battery properly. Is it really bad to keep the plug attached to the computer even if it's already FULL ?
No. It's not an issue. The computer is smart enough to not try to charge a full battery.
 
I have same question, my MBP15 motherboard died after using it with a 60w for few days some years ago. Battery was around 40%health , so could it be the problem?? That the MBP15 with external display needed more power and died??

when using a lower-wattage charger with modern MacBooks, the processor down clocks so that it can still charge while performing tasks.

If you are performing any hard tasks on it during this time (multiple displays) it takes longer to get anything done (because the clock speed goes down)

This leads to more heat generation, and could have contributed to your motherboard dying.

Battery at 40% health means the laptop had been through A LOT, so idk if it can really be pinned on any one thing.
