Can I use a 2020 logic board in my 2019 iMac?

My 2019 logic board has failed and out of warranty, do you know if a 2020 logic board would work as a replacement?

I assume probably not. This is the 27" that you are talking about?

The 27" 2020 has SSD soldered on whereas the 2019 has a replaceable SSD. There are other hardware differences e.g. new iMac has a newer iSight camera etc.

Thanks for the reply! Im thinking I never use the camera and if the ssd is fixed a new board would have a new ssd? So maybe just a new os install would work? Any power changes do you know?
