I just bought a 30" mac monitor with a cracked screen and I would like to test it to see if it even powers on. My problem is that I do not own a mac computer! I have a gateway running windows XP and was wondering if I can plug the mac 30" cinema monitor into my PC. The model # on my Gateway is E-4500D. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am completely clueless!

The 30" mac monitor uses a standard DVI dual link connection.
As long as you have a DVI port on the machine it should work, just won't be at 2560x1600.
