Can i use a isight camera on a 2009 early Mac mini?

want to know if isight camera mode A1083 works on Mac mini 2009 early version, i know is not the same fire wire port but i can use an adapter but want to make sure if someone have an idea if going to work or not or a link that I can read.

I have the isight A1023, on my Mac mini 2009, it works fine. I have two setup, first it was via a 800-400 firewire cable, the second setup is daisy chain via another device (Mac mini >> External HDD(via firewire 800) >> isight). Not sure how much this helps, but it works for me.
