I have a MacMini (Late 2014). Can I connect my Altec Lansing ACS 340 speakers to the MacMini. The ACS is labeled OUTPUT 13 VOLTS, 4A, 52VA, CLASS 2. Is it as simple as just plug it into back of the MacMini. Thank you.

I'm confused, why would you think you can't? Are they USB-powered or something?

Yes, you can. You'd need a "3.5mm to 3.5mm" audio cable. One end of the cable would connect to "Input" on the subwoofer:

The other end of the cable would connect to the port on the Mac Mini with a headphone symbol above it:

Set macOS volume to maximum and then control volume amount using the knob on the left speaker.

thank you. Your response indicates I can. I am totally ignorant about these things, so I am asking. The Altec external Speakers come off of my Dell computer that was discarded 10 years ago--and I was not sure if it was okay to plug it into a Mac product, the Macmini 7.1 (late 2014)
