I was looking on newegg, and the only versions of vista that come with a windows 7 upgrade are the "64-bit for System Builders w/ Tech Guarantee - OEM" will this install and work fine on a macbook through bootcamp?

System builder editions are technically full retail just minus the support right that you buy with retail versions. As the support is hogwash anyway system builder is your friend cost wise.

I got OEM xp+sp3 with my Macbook. Had to reformat the windows disk from PC side as bootcamp did not format properly, but this was not an OEM issue, and all now well. Just got box with DVD but who cares?
