Can I use each app on multiple devices with one purchase?

Hello, on Android, I pay one time and I can run the same app on different android devices. How about iOS version of app? Can they also be used on different devices "at the same time"?

Yes as long as it's downloaded with the same Apple ID and is a universal app.

So, if the author wrote one version for iPhone and another version for iPad, I have to pay for each version even they are both running iOS. Am I right? How many percentage of such app are there in the App Store?

Correct and I have no idea. Most apps are universal now anyways. I think I only have one app that's not out of 100.
