I know this has probably been asked but can't find it anywhere offhand... would just appreciate a quick reply.

I just want to jailbreak my ipod touch to get Mail, Weather, Notes, Stocks, and Maps....

Can I jailbreak the iPod touch using 1.1.1 and go to jailbreakme.com; then use iJailbreak to install the iphone application capabilities.

If thats right, please let me know...I'm aware its probably on 100 topics, but can't find a straight yes/no answer.

Thanks, much appreciated.

to get the iPhone apps just click on "sources in the installer app and then tap "edit" then "add" and type in repo.us.to so the whole address reads "http://repo.us.to". then add the source and let it refresh it.
Then you will see a folder called iphone apps 1.1.1
go in their and install everything. I then rebooted my touch and life was good.
