Can i use Picasa without upgrading my powerbook?

I am seriously have not ideal how should i treat my powerbook, just wondering can i use picasa without upgrading my powerbook? Its Mac OS X 10.3.9, but picasa requires 10.4 or later.. Do i have to upgrade it before i use picasa? Is there anyway that i dont have to do that?

I know its always better to upgrade your mac, but i dont feel like upgrading now so can anyone help me with this please!

It appears that although they don't have Picasa for Mac, they have a program to upload photos from a Mac to Picasa Web Albums:

And yes, you will need OS X 10.4
