Hi!

I have been using Apple Music on an Android device....when setting up an Apple ID for this I used a different email / Apple ID than the one I use for the App Store and iCloud on my Mac. I now want to use this account in iTunes to access Apple Music on my Mac, so that iTunes Music Library is synced between both devices and I can access my Apple Music account on my Mac. This is fine - I just log out in System Preferences, and log in to the account with my Apple Music subscription and music library (I am looking at a permanent, one-off change over - no need to go back to the old account etc)

The only problem is....will this log me out of the App Store as well? I don't want to risk getting logged out of the App Store (and not being able to log back in for 90 days) as I use pro apps professionally....and can't risk accidentally getting logged out of access to them

So I just want to keep my Mac as is....logged in to the same Apple ID for the Mac Store. I just want to permanently log into a different iTunes account, so that I can use my Android Apple Music account on my computer (preserving existing iTunes purchases etc and iCloud are not important - just preserving my App Store purchases)

Any advice on this?

I have a late 2015 MacBook Pro Retina 15" running Mac OS High Sierra
