Hi

I ordered a 12 Pro from Appke. I am on Verizon. I am not sure the new phone will come with a Verizon SIMM. Can I just put the SIMM from my 11 Pro Max into my 12 Pro?

Verizon is suggesting that in order to take advantage of all the new features. That I need a new Verizon SIMM. Is this correct or can I just use my existing SIMM?

Thanks.

I swapped my 11 pro sim into my 12 pro. I thought I read on apples website that they were incompatible but works for me. Now to the 5G piece mentioned above I can’t answer. This is on ATT
You need to use the white SIM the 12 Pro came with, call AT&T and give them the SIM info and you need to upgrade your plan to obtain 5G speeds.

Finally had the chance to go outside. I don’t how about the whole efficacy and interference and such. But as Verizon user I used a previous sim from my iPhone X days and iPhone 12 pro was purchased sim free. I was able to pick up 5G with no problem.

white SIM? You mean AT&T has a different types of nano-sized SIMs?

I didn’t have to do anything with my SIM. I’m on AT&T and ordered from Apple. My 12 Pro came with the SIM installed in it already.

You can use the existing SIM, it'll work with 5G and 5G UW. However, we don't know if that will be the case in the future. Best to just swap out the SIM. Apple can provide one for you at no cost and you can set it up yourself on the Verizon website.

If you enter all your information and order the Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, or Sprint iPhone then it will come with a new sim that will automatically activate when you turn on the new phone. This will also automatically deactivate your old sim. Alternatively, you can purchase the sim-free model which simplifies the ordering process, but then you need to use your current sim or get a new one and have it activated under your account.

I think ur 11 pro sim needs to be provisioned for 5G. Which means you call up and have them put it in system.

Using the Verizon SIM from my iPhone 7+ in my new 12 Pro and it works fine. 5G included.

Same here, this confirmed what the other person said earlier. For now if your Verizon sim is new enough you should be okay, maybe it won't work in the future but it is okay for now.
