What is SP2B? It doesn't say anywhere Service Pack 2, just SP2B and I don't want to get it home and it doesn't have SP2 because that would be useless for the MB, because the MB requires that you have SP2 on the disc.

If memory serves SP2B stands for Service Pack 2 Revision B. (The first SP2 release was revision A). Basically it includes some of the more recent bug fixes etc.

I have installed OEM versions of Vista and XP Home on my Macbook Pro both in bootcamp and as virtual machines in Fusion without any issues so you should be fine.
