thanks in advance
NO, and I think this is just a first world problem, a non issue.
I think it was just a simple question. I don't see the word "issue" in the OP. Maybe cut back on the coffee a bit
Kids ask the darndest questions.
This is actually a reasonable question.
They changed the way that waking a macbook from display sleep worked. You used to be able to just swipe the trackpad to wake the screen back up and now you have to click a key. This occurred in the SL > Lion transition.
Not a huge difference but I did prefer the old way.
What I really want is the machine knows am staring at it and turns on that way. ^)
this is a bizarre response to a fairly simple and straight-forward question
A simple click does the job, a fly on the trackpad could wake your computer, not with a click.
Why so, is swiping easier than a simple click????
Ask the fly.
My MBA wakes up when I open the lid. If the lid is open I I just click on the trackpad and it wakes up. Never tried just swiping.
99% of everything on this website is a first world problem.
It won't, but a click on the trackpad is just fine for me.
I alway use the down arrow button to wake... I have this concern that if I click the mouse I'll be clicking on the OK button to either empty my bank account or erase the had drive
Yeah I liked the trackpad swipe, too. Oh well. Now I tap the *esc* key to wake up my MBA.
