i wipe my gbp about once/twice everyday w/ a microfiber cloth and water

will that decrease the life of the keyboard faster than not wiping it?

oh and side question
will replacing the keyboard void warranty? (ie. if i did it super carefully too)

it really shouldn't effect your keyboard lifespan by cleaning it as long as you're careful.

i usually wipe it down with a microfiber cloth once a week. the black keys show smudges too easily. 😱

cleaning a keyboard will not affect its lifespan.
In fact, keeping it clean may allow it to last longer 😉

they have this awesome solution that they sell at the mac store. My old macbook (white) keys were all dirty, and a spray on the cloth and wipedown restored them to knew. the only thing that sucks is the bottle costs like $20, but the genius was kind enough to let me use it for free.
