Hi, I use entirely Apple computers and mobiles devices for my home setup, with iCloud for bookmarks and my calendar; and Gmail as my primary email account.

I (sadly) have a Windows laptop for work, which runs Microsoft Outlook 2010 for my emails. Actually, rather than Exchange, our company uses Google Apps - but I use the Google Apps/Outlook sync app to allow me to continue using Outlook.

I also have an iPhone 5 for Home and an iPhone 4 for work.

I have iCloud, Gmail and my work's Google Apps accounts on both phones, with the calendars activated for each, but the email for Google deactivated on my Home iPhone and the email for Gmail deactivated on my Work iPhone.

So the home iPhone receives personal emails; the work iPhone receives work emails - and both have identical calendars. Great.

What would finish this setup off, is being able to add my Home iCloud calendar to Outlook on my Windows laptop too.

However, I see that the iCloud app combines contact and calendar syncing in Outlook together?

This would surely take my Home iCloud contacts and mix them into Outlook, potentially mixing them with my Google Apps contacts too?

This sounds dangerous. Has anyone tried it and managed to keep it separate?
