Sorry for the redundant post. I assure you that I have searched the forum well, but only to come up with mixed answers and results on a question that should have a fairly unanimous answer.
If I run my MBA to my tv through mini display-port to HDMI, will it be able to output a file that is 1080p without trouble?
I just ordered a 13" 1.8GHz with 4 gig of ram. I currently use a late 2007 2.4Ghz C2D with 4gig of ram iMac. I have no problems whatsoever loading up a 1080p file with it.
Does that processor speed make *that* much of a difference in this case? A lot of people seem to think it does.
