can kernel Panic be caused by skype or yahoo msn or manycam?

I bought a brand new macbook Pro 13" that came with snow leopard 10.6.4, after 2 month of using it i start getting Kernel Panic, i didn´t know what was it so when i took it to apple store they said that the hard drive was corrupted so they change it, a week later i start getting Kernel panic again, they have done test of software and hardware and they found nothing so they said it must be a program that a installed that caused it, is that possible? when i got my computer back i only installed skype, many cam and yahoo msn and i end up getting kernel panic too, (can skype, manycam or yahoo msn can cause kernel panic?), apple store is not being much help because they said its software so i don't know what else to do.

this is the error i get so i will happy if somebody know what this means:

i have tried all this so far:

    1) run the fsck pressing command +option S key
    2) i have done option + command + R + P
    3) i have run the disc pressing C key and check the softward, sometimes i get nothing and sometimes i get that some volume folder has move but it fixed it.
    4) i have run the disk pressing D and sometimes i get nothing and sometimes i get this hardward error 4MEM/9/40000000:0XA9F75D18, apple said that that hardware error was cause because of a softward problems, is it possible?.
    5) i have reinstall the Mac OS X software again without deleting the information i have, all the softward its up to date.
    6) i have install Onyx and do check the softward all the time.

Another thing is that before they change the hard drive i also have problem with internet, apple store have check my airport card and they said its works fine, that i had that problem because of the driver, but i have notice something that on the internet bar signal some times i get a full signal but but internet runs slow, i told them that and they said that the bar signal shows that you have internet thats all and not the potential of the signal, is it true????

i will appreciate your help guys. thanks in advance.

can i software error cause a hardware error - kernel panic?

Hi, i keep getting kernel panic on my brand new Macbook Pro 13¨ and some on and off error messages on the hardware test, so far i have done all this to get it fix:

    6) i have install Onyx and do check the softward all the time.

can a corrupt software that is probably giving me kernel panic can cause an error test on hardware (this is not often), does anybody knows what this error means on hardware 4MEM/9/40000000:0XA9F75D18?

Another thing is that before they change the hard drive i also have problem with internet, apple store have check my airport card and they said its works fine, that i had that problem because of the driver, but i have notice something that on the internet bar signal some times i get a full signal but but internet runs slow, i told them that and they said that the bar signal shows that you have internet thats all and not the potential of the signal, is it true????

i took my computer to apple and they said that after they change the hard drive that first generate kernel panic everything its fine now and what is causing the new kernel panic its a software in my computer.

i will appreciate your help guys. thanks in advance

First of all, you only need to ask a question once in one place. Secondly, mroogle is an excellent way to search for your topic before posting.

If you are getting kernel panics for any reason, I suggest this might be a good time to do an archive and install. It puts everything back where you had it but you have a fresh copy of OS X going forward. The down side is that perhaps the OS dvd you might have lying around is very old so you will have to sit through a fairly large combo update to get back up to the current OS. I'm not sure what you meant by point 6. Are you saying you have just done an archive and install and still have the kernel panic?

I see com.manycamllc.driver.ManyCamDriver in your kexts, so yes, ManyCam can cause a kernel panic, and since it appears to be your only loaded 3rd party kext, I'd be very suspicious of it.

(kexts are plugins [not really, but kinda] that are loaded into the core of OS X to add some extra functionality, usually support for some piece of hardware)
