Hi I have a quick question here i have an old iBook with Mac OS 10.4.11 installed and when i run the "Verify Disk" option in Disk Utility i get some bad messages and it recommends me to repair the disk. The problem is that to do that i need a powerpc Mac OS 10.4 installation disk to boot from but i lost it years ago but i do have a 10.5 installation disk laying around and i was wondering if it is safe to do the "Repair Disk" option from that on my 10.4 installation.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, it can be used to safely repair the iBook's hard drive.

Leopard supposes PPC / Intel based Macs. So no problems there
