You know how in Windows you can set each folder to have different icon/folder sizes/views like "list", "thumbnails", and "tiles"? Is that possible in Mac OS? Everytime I switch the view in Mac OS it changes the view for ALL folders.

I've found that in Tiger you could set view (Icons, list, columns, etc.) per folder but in Leopard when you set it for one folder it seems to apply to ALL folders even if you never told it to.

Other Finder view options (spacing, arrangement, icon size etc.) do seem to stick the per folder basis.

I haven't complained about it, yet.

Wow really? Does anyone want my machine? LOL. I WANT mine to all set the same at once, but it refuses to set anything but that single folder and I have to annoyingly go through each folder and set it one by one. ..........P.I.T.A.

I keep hitting "use as default" on the view settings and it doesn't do a thing. I keep having to set each folder one by one.
