Can MBP support 30in display?

I have 2.4Ghz MBP, and I wanted to get the 30in Dell display. But would I be able to support it? I read that you need to connect 2 DVI to 30in display.

it isn't that you need two dvi cables. rather, you need a dual link dvi, a single cable, which the macbook pro supports. so yes, the mbp will support a 30" display. just don't rest the display on top of the macbook pro. it won't support it that way. 😛

unless the dell is different in some way, the answer should be yes. plug and play.
