Can MBP support 30in display?

I have 2.4Ghz MBP, and I wanted to get the 30in Dell display. But would I be able to support it? I read that you need to connect 2 DVI to 30in display.

it isn't that you need two dvi cables. rather, you need a dual link dvi, a single cable, which the macbook pro supports. so yes, the mbp will support a 30" display. just don't rest the display on top of the macbook pro. it won't support it that way.

unless the dell is different in some way, the answer should be yes. plug and play.
