Can mobile me be used on iphone without the email part?

I want to use mobile me to keep my contacts and calendar synced between 2 computers and my iphone. I'm not interested in the email part. Can i choose in itunes to just keep the contacts and calendar synced and not use the email?

I haven't gotten it yet and wanted to know.

Once you add the MobileMe account to the iPhone through the Settings app, you can choose which parts of MobileMe to enable (mail, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, etc.)

I currently use MobileMe with everything except the Mail application and it works fine.

Sure can. I keep bookmarks calendars and contacts sync'd between 2 machines and calendars and contacts in sync with my phone.
