Can my MacBook get a backlit keyboard?

I have a late 2009 MacBook Unibody that has a broken keyboard. I'm going to replace it, so I am wondering, can I get a backlit keyboard from a macbook pro and use the backlit? I have heard of this but not sure if my macbook will work or not.

No, the keyboard is integrated with the palmrest and the two parts are not cross model compatible.
