D dandan macrumors newbie Original poster Oct 1, 2007 #1 I am looking at replacing my dead imac. Can the new imacs run final cut pro or final cut express or do i need a powermac. I am thinking of getting the 2.8GHz with 2GB and 500GB harddrive or would the 1GB be enough.
