When accessing itunes store I get a message - "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the itunes store. Please try again later".
I repaired the key chain - no help.
I changed the location on the net connections - no help.
I downloaded the iTunes v.7 - no help.
Safari works fine.
Any thoughts?

Clear Any Proxies

I had the same problem. Somehow there was a proxy file listed in:

System Prefs->Network->Advanced->Proxies

I choose to manually configure proxy and cleared all the checkboxes. Now Itunes works fine.

Please let me know if this helps! Thanks!

Fixed

;)Thanks Grandthinker that solved the problem for me. Interestingly not the first time I tried it. I selected "Manually" under configure proxies and left Use Passive FTP checked. After a restart it seemed to come right. Cheers.
