Can not locate Preferences file for Chrome on Lion

Would be grateful for some help, there is a way to speed up Chrome, by deleting or moving the preferences file. It is supposed to be in

Users/[Your Username]/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/

But search doesn't find it, and after my username there is only the normal folders and no Library.

Any ideas?

Your Library folders are hidden by default in Lion. To get to your /Library or /Users/yourusername/Library (also known as the ~/Library) folders in Lion:

• Launch Finder and click Go > Go to Folder and type: /Library or ~/Library
  
• Hold the Option key while clicking the Go menu item, which reveals your ~/Library folder in the menu.
