I am unable to resize my Dock on my MacBook. I place the mouse over teh spacer on the dock and i the mouse no longer changes symbols ad allows for Dock to change sizes. So i though i would try going in to Preferences and doing it from there. But when i tried doing it from there i was only able to make it smaller... Weird eh? Even when i tried dragging the arrow towards larger it would always move towards smaller. Oh also the dock size section in preferences is now grayed out and can't be moved at all.

Attached an image.

My specs:

MacBook 2.4GHZ, Intel Core 2 Duo, (if his is needed and helps)

Thanks in advance

Dont know what made it go bad, but have you tried to reset the dock to the default by deleting the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist in your home directory?

Its good practice to have a backup version of the pref file if the dock for some reason goes "bad". Example can you imagine if you mistakenly dragged 1000+ pictures to your dock, and it made them all as an icon? You would be dragging them off from your dock the whole day! :D Its easier then to delete the dock prefs and then restore it from the backup file (eg. from com.apple.dock.plist_backup) :)
