Can not see open safari tabs

My mbp can not see my open safari tabs on my other devices, though my iMac, iPad, iPhone can see my open safari tabs on my mbp. I have turned on and off iCloud on my mbp, turned off safari in iCloud on my mbp. Any other suggestions?

afaik as more feedback apple gets on the problem then there is more chances to get it fixed, for now you have to have latest ios/macos and safari versions

This would seem to make sense, though I was using Sierra on my MBP a few weeks ago and it worked. It stopped working after I wiped it and reinstalled Sierra. Also my iMac is still on Sierra, and Safari on the iMac is displaying all of my open tabs from my other devices...
