Can not turn off sound

I have just upgraded CS2 to CS4 and for some reason every action that I do is now sound activated. Some how I have turned on the sound on and can not turn it off. Thanks

Nope. I finaly found the problem. APPLE+F5 turns on and off the Voice Over.

I dearsay at times this could be usefull but I've spent about two hours trying to figure this out. It's also interesting in that I was useing the FILL shortcut key SHIFT+F5 at the time so I must have pressed APPLE key by mistake.

But thanks anyway for your time. I'll no doubt be back.
