I want to take advantage of $200 Samsung offer by preordering N4 from Verizon and trading in Nokia 520 to T-Mobile. Does Verizon offer the preorders in their stores? (I don't want to preorder online, because I'm travelling and in Oregon - no sales tax.) I chose Verizon because of lower price ($700, right?), and I don't care/need the cell functionality.

Probably, can preorder in Verizon store, I did mine in an AT&T store. Keep your receipts for the Samsung promo. I'm not sure about trading in the phone to one carrier and purchasing on another however. Read up on the terms to see if this is in violation of them.

Lowest price I've found on the Verizon N4 is $692 and the $200 rebate on the spot at best buy. Verizon is $699 + 6-8 weeks to get your $200 from Samsung by mail

I can't get $200 from Bestbuy because they only offer $7 for Nokia 520 trade-in. Tmobile offer $11, enough for samsung rebate. I don't mind the wait.

I see BB is screwing everyone on Verizon. They raised the price of the off-contract Note 4 from $692 to $749 overnight. So unless Verizon lifts the 23rd date if BB gets them the 17th as they claim you can't price match them against VZ on release day.

Pre-orders are only good for 48 hours, so you find a match or lose $50 now.

You can preorder off-contract N4 at BB? I went to BB and they said I can't, only on-contract.

I ordered mine off-contract at BB. No issue doing so at all. Now that said? I think BB is playing some games since the release is getting closer and there's more buzz generating. That said, I'll just not buy it if it gets too stupid.
