You are not. PS3 plays 3D blu-ray.

Unfortunately, not. Only PS4 and Xbox one can run 4k resolution videos but just videos though. Analysts do not think that neither of them is able to run game in 4k resolution.

Even if they could, developers are unlikely to support that kind of resolution anytime soon. (Heck, they seldom supported true 1080p last gen, and that was something a decent number of people actually had)

Be funny if this is enabled via streaming. But then few connections would be able to stream it!
