Can PSP Go play Japanese games?

I know the old PSP can play Japanese games as it doesnt have Region lock. Do anybody know if the new PSP can? thanks!

It can only be linked with one PSN ID at a time, so if you've got a Japanese account with a way of paying, you could in theory have a japanese day, and copy them all over.

In theory, yes. But its not practical to do it.
