    Hi!

Does Safari, or an add-on for it, let you define Camino/FF-style quick searches?

In Camino, you can, for example, add the bookmark with an address like "http://www.google.com/search?q=%s" and then define a shortcut for it, for example "g". You can then type "g foobar" in the address bar, and a google search for "foobar" will be made.

    Thanks,
    Jaka

It can do this if you use a plugin.

I believe there are a couple that will enable this feature or at least similar features. The one I used in the past under Tiger was Sogudi. There is a note on their webste about Leopard, you have to use a beta.

BTW the shortcut to the Google search bar in Safari is cmd+opt+f, however with Sogudi you can define more than one search engine/site
