Can siri figure out tip on a bill?

I can't seem to figure it out. Could she tell me what a 17% tip on a 35$ bill is?

of course, just ask it "what is 17 percent of 35" or "what is 117 percent of 35" for the bill total.

i asled it to multiply 35 by 0.17 and it gave me the answer
