i got the original 10.6.3 disc and i ran and installed everything worked good but it still will not load up unless its in safe mode so i got a copy of snow leopard 10.6.7 and i was going to install that but whenever i try i get a error message saying mac os x cant be installed on this computer

im stuck the 10.6.3 disc is not letting me boot normally and the 10.6.7 cant be installed

heres my imac specs

Sounds like you may have a bad stick of ram. First, reseat the ram and see if that helps. If not, then take one bank out at a time and see if you can isolate which stick is bad.
