Hi all,
I have a planned computer set up, and I would appreciate it if someone could check it over for compatibility options, and make sure it is fine for my uses.

Here goes:
Mac Mini 2011 2.3GHz i5
8GB RAM upgrade
Samsung B2230H monitor connected via HDMI
Apple Magic Trackpad
Apple Wireless keyboard.

It will cost me £650 as I will be getting some parts during a trip to the US where it it much cheaper.

My uses are as followed:
Web browsing including HD YouTube videos
Photo editing using Aperture
iTunes and syncing with my iPad
Light gaming: EG/ Modern Combat: Domination, Call of Duty 2 etc
Watching/ripping movies using an external disc reader I already own.

If you don't think it will be suitable for this, other options include:
Refurbished 21.5 iMac for £849
MacBook Pro for £800

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. Under £850 please!

I think for the most part that configuration is fine. The only possible issue would be regards gaming. Most older games should run fine although newer ones may struggle or not run at all. Also even some older games do not support the integrated Intel HD3000 GPU.
