Can someone help me do a clean install of OS X Lion?

    I have Lion and Snow Leopard (I have also burned the Lion installer dmg to a DVD if that matters). I just deleted the old hard drive and now I'm installing Snow Leopard. But how do I get a clean install of Lion? Or am I already going in the wrong direction? Thanks for any help. :)

    To do a clean install of Lion just boot your system from the DVD you made with the Lion installer on it. Point the installer to put Lion on whatever drive/partition you have made for the Lion install. If you want a system with Snow Leopard and Lion, you will need to go into Disk Utility and partition you drive into two separate partitions.

    Not intending to hijack thread, but

    Can you make 2 partitions with Lion vs 1 w/Lion & 1 w/SL?

    Yes you can, at least according this tutorial you can.
