Hello, recently I erased my MacBook HDD, when I try reinstalling I got an error saying "this item is currently not available " so I when on and did a bootable usb but that didn't work. I found out another method that consists on using an Apple ID that's been used to upgrade the MacBook OS.

    I appreciate any help.

    Regards, Marco

Which model MacBook and which OS are you trying to install?
I'm sure there's a way to get you up and running without any Apple ID fraud.

I have an Early 2011 Macbook Pro 13'', the OS that appears in the reinstalling option in recovery mode is El Capitan, however I tried installing Yosemite 10.10.1 from the bootable USB but ''hold option while booting'' doesnt work for me, I did reset the PRAM and everything else several times.
