Lol.. Funny how it took longer to remove the 'Anti Virus' than it would have to remove an 'Actual Virus'.... :rolleyes:

Next time you need to remove something properly use App Cleaner.. Its a clever tool every mac should have.

This thread has convinced me not to install it. Thank you for that.
I recall from my PC days (my kids machines) that the anti-virus was the most troublesome software installed. That has made me hesitate to install on my Mac.
I will hold out as long as possible. I am convinced it will be essential someday. Let's hope it is several years away!
 
If you still have problems...like I did...from intego

I tried everything!! Thanks for the support in this forum...but I still couldn't get virus barrier to stop showing up in CONSOLE and bringing my system to it's knees!!! So I emailed them and received a prompt reply, which I've just completed. The tasks have STOPPED...I'm thrilled! speed is holding...now to remove SecretAgent....any ideas?? Here's the email - thanks again!!!:)

/Macintosh HD/Library/Logs

I was searching for this... still the same solution : try to reinstall the apps and choose when arrives Uninstall.
