Can someone help with a application problem??

There is this game called onverse which i have been playing for about 4 months . One day the game window would not pop up the dock disppers and the menu bar as well and you just hear the games music. when you click the the screen the dock comes back and the menu bar and you still hear the music. What is suppost to pop up is a window. When the game did work the dock would disapear for a sec then it would pop up again with the window. I tried emailing the company that made the game and they have no idea whats going on. Can someone help me
