i still say the Mac Pro is the way to go. it can do everything you ask of, and you can upgrade everything on it. if you get the 2.0 then you can get it for under $2000 with all the lowest stuff on it, which you could upgrade later. you can't put 4 hard drives or 4 video cards in an imac

Yes, the iMac with Core 2 Duo should be able to run Vista (whenever M$ finally releases it :rolleyes: ) just fine. :)

The CPU, RAM, HDD, optical drive, and GPU (on the 24" iMac) are all replaceable in the iMac. :)
