I can’t get to a store to see for myself, I would like to know what the default scaling option is (“Looks Like”) under Display for the 15” Air.

I assume it’s not a true 2x Retina like 14”/16” MBP and that’s fine, but is there an option to switch to that?

Basically, can someone just post all the ”Looks Like” options provided by Apple without needing a resolution switcher app installed. Thank you.

Here are the options in the settings menu:
- 1024 x 663
- 1280 x 828
- 1440 x 932
- 1710 x 1107 (default)
- 1920 x 1243

Thanks. Looks like 1440 x 932 is true 2x retina of the 2880 x 1864 resolution. But I’ll prob stick with the default for more space.

I realize this thread is old but found this interesting to share. Despite my M3 Max MBP 14 having a higher overall native resolution of 3024x1964, the available scaling options imply the MBA 15 will actually show more content at the available scaling options. I wish I could see a little more in Photoshop without having to go to the heavy 16" MBP. I may swap out my MBP 14 for an M4 Pro Mac mini + MBA 15. I am getting tired of using my MBP mostly in clamshell mode and having to dock it or manually unmount external drives before undocking.

MPB 14 resolution scales:
1024x665
1147x745
1352x878
1512x982 (default)
1800x1169 (more space)
