I'm looking for a good little JPG viewer, sort of like ACDSee but smaller and preferably cheaper. I use FastStone on Windows, which is great as it's super quick, has plenty of thumbnail options, and will scale up or down images in full screen mode very cleanly. I've tried Phoenix Slides on the Mac but it's a bit clunky.

Can anyone recommend anything? Ideally something which I can throw any random folder of images at and it will without fuss generate thumbnails and let me browse flick through the images in full screen mode.

Thanks!

On Yosemite or better just highlight the JPG and press the space bar to quickly view it. Select multiple pictures and use the left-right arrow buttons to back and forth through the pictures.

This works on all versions of Mac OS, at least since Tiger 10.4 which was when I myself got on board.
