iPod touch Can someone return the ipod touch without proof?

Hi everyone

I bought a Macbook pro and ipod touch today using student discount.

Now I want to sell the ipod touch on ebay. I just want to know if the buyer can return it to any apple store without any paper proof? Since this would break my eligibility of rebate
