those bumpers, imo, are COMPLETE ripoffs of the speck candyshells. seriously. same dual color scheme and im sure that apple put soft inside and hard outside. just like a candyshell. maybe they worked together?

I'm pretty sure they're a single color. The bumper is just the plastic ring around the rim of the phone.

I absolutely despise phone docks. Total waste of time. Nothing like putting your phone in the dock, realizing you need to make a phone call/receive a phone call and OH NOES! You can't! Cause pulling the phone out stops the sync/charging etc. Much, much simpler and cheaper to just use a cable. Then you can still make phone calls etc while it's plugged in!

That's my Friday Tip for you all.

I leave the dock permanently plugged in by my bed. It's my alarm clock, and I like that it stands up and is in the exact same place every night (easy access to the snooze!)

I have another USB cable that I use to sync with.

If you read the description and look at the pictures on apple's site, they are all dual color. Image below taken from the apple store. The white bumper actually looks white and gray.

As far as the dock, I bet the iphone 4 will fit in the old dock without the adapters. I have 2 docks and don't use the 3G adapters and it works fine.

I use this JBL speaker dock. Besides charging and playing music through JBL speakers, you can make and receive calls. Also, it has batteries so you can put it wherever you want.

The new dock doesn't look like its very secure for the phone. It looks like just a little bit of pressure pushing the phone back could cause damage to the phones connector.
