Set Apps to minimise behind the dock icon
Open an App that is set to open in a certain space
Minimise this App
Goto another space
Activate Expose for All Windows
Click on the minimised app in the window

The App will open in this new space instead of the space it is set to open in, you then need to activate spaces and drag it back to the right space

Not sure if this is a bug or this is a new feature

If you suspect it's a bug, report it so they can fix it on one of the inevitable updates!

YES! I experience this too, and it is incredibly annoying. I usually one my second space for a full screen virtual machine, but if I accidently go into expose on my second space it "owns" or "draws into focus" all the windows that are minimized in my first space. Consequently, when I unminmize them, i get swooshed back to my second space and they are opened there. Very frustrating. I did report it to apple, but I would love it if somebody had a work around!
