I signed up with AT&T yesterday, leaving T-Mobile after 7 years. I have 700 minutes, 2GB data plan and unlimited text. So about 30 minutes ago AT&T sends me this text: AT&T Free Msg: You have exceeded $20 in messaging charges. Go to att.com/msg to learn how to reduce your charges.

Why would they send me this if I have unlimited texting?

They don't seem to have you on unlimited texting package. Call a rep. THey will straighten things out for you. They may even be able to help you in the online chat.

Sounds like the REP forgot to put on the text. Just call 611 and tell them , they can back date it so you don't get extra charges. Also you must be on the 3gig data plan. AT&T has not had the 2gig plan for new customer for a while now. Enjoy!!
