Can the $800 laptops be refurbs?

That really wouldn't make much sense from a news standpoint. Why would Apple market older models upon the release of new ones?

Perhaps not refurbs, but maybe sticking with the plastic and intergrated graphics. Who knows, theres been no mention of a macbook for $800 other than that one rumour a while ago.

they said they have 12price points, so i guess they'll stick to the plastic ones, i hope the alluminium start at 1099, like now ..

I doubt they will stick with the old design -- if anything maybe a new hybrid version which has a combination of plastic and aluminum or something.
